“I’ve been a petrolhead for as long as I can remember.”
My passion for cars started before I could drive, then as a teenager, I was lucky enough to ‘accidentally’ land a job writing for a car magazine. Since then, I’ve written for the car culture website Speedhunters and managed a team making driving games. During race season, you’ll find me in the pitlane (or on YouTube) as the livestream presenter for the race series Time Attack.
I’m at my happiest when I’m driving my own car – a modified Mitsubishi Evo VI – on track though! With Driven Life, I’m excited to spread that passion for track driving to more women.
The vision
Why run a women-only track day in the first place? Suzy explains…
“I’ve been doing track days for years, but I’ve always noticed a distinct lack of other women in the briefing. Rightly or wrongly, I also felt pressure to perform out on track too, for fear of being labelled ‘that slow woman’. Though the number of women in motorsport has increased over the years (thanks to multiple initiatives), things don’t seem to have changed much at your average track day.
It’s played on my mind for a long time why that is. In such a male-dominated environment, just putting your name down can be loaded with pressure. Is my car fast enough? Am I a good enough driver? Will other people make assumptions on how I’ll perform?
All of those things can be stressful. But driving on track is amazing, and I want more women to experience it! For years, the idea’s been brewing to build a friendly, low-pressure environment just for women, where you don’t have to worry about who’s looking at you, who’s got more experience and whether you’ll be judged for how fast you’re driving. Where you get the chance to receive instruction from a female race driver, get your picture taken out on track by a top-tier automotive photographer (who yes, you guessed it, is a woman too) and meet fellow female petrolheads. A day run by women, for women.
Driven Life track days are here to support women drivers of all experience levels, and bring together like-minded ladies in a safe and supportive environment. No attitudes, no pressure, no BS. So everyone can have a blast on track together.

Charlotte Birch
Charlotte Birch is a seasoned racing driver with over 10 years of experience behind the wheel. From humble beginnings in Citroën Saxos to the high-intensity world of GT3 racing, Charlotte has built a diverse and impressive motorsport resume. Her adaptability across different racing disciplines has earned her respect in paddocks across the UK.
Beyond her achievements on the track, Charlotte is a full-time performance driver coach, dedicated to developing the next generation of talent. She’s especially passionate about creating opportunities for women in motorsport, using her platform to inspire, mentor, and support female athletes entering the sport.
With a relentless drive for performance and a genuine commitment to inclusion in racing, Charlotte Birch represents both the future and the spirit of modern motorsport.

Laura Harris
Laura runs a digital agency called AllroundWannabe Ltd, that supports companies within the automotive industry with their communications, social media management and also their photography.
She’s had the pleasure of working with brands such as Prodrive, Lotus, Tuthill and EVO over the past six years; shooting at the track, events and in their workshops!
Outside of her day job, she also founded and runs a women’s automotive community called Be Right Back, whose aim is to encourage women in the industry to network with each other through shared experiences – just like a track day! She found the corporate events a bit too formal for her to meet other women and engage meaningfully, so hopes BRB allows that for others as it continues to grow!
